Check the eShop Daily: From December 12, 2025 through December 18, 2025, a new free game will be revealed each day at 12:00 AM PST (9:00 AM CET). Visit the Nintendo eShop (Americas region) on your Switch after the reveal time to find that day’s “Switchmas” free game.

Claim within 24 Hours: Select the game on the eShop and “purchase” it for $0. Download it to add it permanently to your library. Each free title is only available for a 24-hour window (until 11:59 PM PST of the same day).

Maintain the Streak: Continue to log in and claim each daily free game. You must have each previous day’s title in your account to unlock the next day’s free game. The promotion is chain-based – missing a day breaks the chain.

Miss a Day? Catch Up: If you forget to claim a game on its free day, you can still buy that title the next day at a deep discount on the eShop. Owning the missed game (even via discount purchase) will re-qualify your account so you can continue with the remaining freebies.
