No Gravity Games’ Switchmas 2025 giveaway is now underway, and the first free Nintendo Switch game is officially available to claim.
This annual promotion runs from December 12 through December 19, with one free indie game unlocking each day on the Nintendo Switch eShop. Today marks Day 1, and if you want to stay eligible for the remaining giveaways, claiming the first game is mandatory.
Today’s Free Game (Day 1)
The first title in this year’s Switchmas lineup is Bullets & Brains.
It’s free to claim until December 13 at 11:59 PM PST, after which it will revert to a paid (or discounted) title. Once claimed, the game is permanently added to your Nintendo account.
Important Rules to Know
Switchmas isn’t a standard “claim once and forget it” promo. There are a few conditions:
- Your Nintendo account must be set to the Americas region
- You must claim each day’s free game to stay eligible for the next one
- Miss a day, and you’ll need to buy the missed title at a discounted price to rejoin the giveaway chain
A new game unlocks every day at 12:00 AM PST, with the final day reportedly featuring three titles at once.
